Sara Colpitts graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She later received her Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School.  Sara is licensed to practice in all courts in the State of California.

 

Sara began her legal career representing lending institutions in general business and real estate matters.  She continued her legal career at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich and Rosati and subsequently went on to a boutique firm handling family law matters as well as civil and commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, products liability claims, and other forms of litigation.

Sara subsequently established her boutique firm devoted exclusively to family law matters, including divorce and domestic partner dissolution, child and spousal support, custody and visitation, valuation and distribution of marital assets, out-of-court mediation services, and post judgment enforcement and modifications.

 

By listening to her client’s goals and concerns, Sara customizes her representation and advises on the best course of action, including alternative dispute resolution, marital settlements and litigation.
